Bosch BR540 In-tank Fuel Pump 540LPH

The Bosch BR540 is a high-performance, in-tank fuel pump designed for motorsport and high-output street applications. With its exceptional flow rates and compatibility with various fuels, including E85, it's ideal for vehicles requiring substantial fuel delivery.

Compact Size

The BR540 is a compact in-tank pump, measuring only 141mm in overall length with a body diameter of 46mm. This makes the high-flowing unit suitable for most standard replacement in-tank installations, as well as fitting into existing surge tanks on the mark. For the truly performance focused, the BR540 weighs in at only 540g, making it one of the lightest pumps on the market.

Improved Reliability

As a global OEM parts manufacturer, Bosch is no stranger to developing and manufacturing reliable parts, but the BR540 goes further. The pump design is based around a carbon commutator, which decreases temperature transfer and increases brush life. This means the pump will perform better for longer, without a degradation in output as the pump ages. The pump also features a new designed, high-flow filter which protects it from any debris in the fuel tank.

Ethanol Safe

The sweet jungle juice we love and know as E85 has been a Godsend for high powered street cars, but this high-horsepower suitability comes at a price. The highly corrosive nature of ethanol can wreak havoc on older fuel systems, known to eat rubber hoses and seals, dislodge rust and cause blockages in filters and injectors. The BR540 has been designed from the beginning to be completely ethanol-safe, with thousands of hours of testing behind it.
