Bosch Performance 3X9 E85 Safe In-Tank Fuel Pump 225LPH

The Bosch 3X9 is a high-performance, in-tank fuel pump designed for high-output street applications and those requiring ethanol fuels.

Compact Design

The new 3X9 pump is tiny, filling out the small 38mm pump category with only 94mm length in the body. The compact pump also comes with am 8mm flexible plastic connector tube, making it plug and play for most OEM installations, as well as being suitable for twin- or triple-pump setups.

Low Power Draw

The new pump is highly efficient, pulling a mere 11 amps at max flow. This makes it drop-in for most factory installations, requiring only a connector change, without significant upgrades to wiring, relays and triggering. The low power draw also lends itself to efficient staging in multiple-fuel pump setups.

Improved Reliability

As a global OEM parts manufacturer, Bosch is no stranger to developing and manufacturing reliable parts, but the 3X9 goes further. The pump design is based around a carbon commutator, which decreases temperature transfer and increases brush life. This means the pump will perform better for longer, without a degradation in output as the pump ages.

Ethanol Safe

The sweet jungle juice we love and know as E85 has been a Godsend for high powered street cars, but this high-horsepower suitability comes at a price. The highly corrosive nature of ethanol can wreak havoc on older fuel systems, known to eat rubber hoses and seals, dislodge rust and cause blockages in filters and injectors. The 3X9 has been designed from the beginning to be completely ethanol-safe, with thousands of hours of testing behind it.
